The Amazing Race!

The amazing Race! (June 18) It is friendship week in Ogden! So what is the best way to build fun and exciting memories with your friends... Well an amazing race duh!! Zack and I were going to do it together however he was not sure if his work schedule would work out so to be on the safe side me and the momma signed up! IT was a BLAST! However I am out of shape! I did most of the physical road blocks and such as the mom did more brainy stuff haha. I was A-OK with that haha. Task 1: Get Tossed. Mom had to try to remember how to put a puzzle together with only looking at it a few times, and I had to shoot some hoops! That was the fun part! Task 2: Get Balanced. I stood on one leg on a stool, while balancing a book on my head, and mom had to balance a check book. We didnt do the best on that one haha. IT was all timed. Task 3: Get Spent. At this road block we had to go grocery shopping for certain item. The challenge we had to tie our legs together. We totally rocked at this one!! The cashier people told us it was one of the best times they had seen so far! Whoot whoot! Task 4: Get Fit. WE FAILED miserable at this one! WE had to burn 300 calories in 5 minutes! WE were only like 10 short! But we still didnt get the points for it :( Task 5: Get Wet. We ended up at the scuba shop! At this detour we had to use water guns to move a boat from acrossed the pool! We once again rocked at that one! And there was a 6th task I sadly can not remember what it was : ( This is what I get get for not keeping up on my blog. Sorry fellas!

Bees game!

Today zack and I both had off!! Which is awesome I must add!! So my dear friend Lianna gave us some Bee tickets to go and enjoy the game. So here we are enjoying the atmosphere and soaking in the rays!!

After we went and got the famous 7 11 slurpies and sat at the park enjoying the sounds singing birds and lawn mowers!!

The Flu!

Zack and I went down to Arizona for one of my best friends Graduations! Sadly though Zack got hit with a NASTY bug that had been going around. I felt terrible having to leave him but that is the reason why we went to AZ in the first place. But I knew my sister Jess would take care of him. SO in his place I took my sweet niece Kayda! Brock was sad but I needed to just spend the morning with my Kayda bug! After we got up to Flagstaff I guess Zack was getting worse and they ended up taking him to the ER, they thought his appendix had ruptured. EEK!! Our day turned and we headed back down the mountain! Kayda was AMAZING!! She was the perfect partner to take with me! Then we headed home on Sunday. I was teasing Zack that he was sick and I wasnt. I spoke to soon. Tuesday morning it was my turn! I tell you what it is NOT fun, wiped me out for a couple of days thats for sure!

Pink Hair

I like to experiment with my hair at times and saw this pin on pinterest and fell in love with it! So I called up my hair dresser and planned in tye-dyeing my hair! here is the final project! Thanks Amberly!!

Jazz Playoff Game!

This year the Jazz made the playoffs! YIPPEE!! SO my dear momma got Zacks playoff tickets for his B day! I always like it when one of use gets Jazz tickets for our birthday because we both benefit from it! However it was a pretty close call in not getting our tickets! Here is the story! So my Mom bought the tickets on Wednesday (the game was on Monday night) and they were going to be mailed to our house! Perfect right?!? NOT!! Later on Thursday some chick calls my mom and tells her that she ordered the tickets to late and that she needs to have them over nighted instead. So my mom has them overnight to get there on Friday. Alright thats works too. EXCEPT that the fed ex person came at 1230, Zack and I are both at work and one of had to sign for them. I later called asking them to put a hold on it so that Zack could just pick them up Monday. However I get a call that the hold didnt get processed fast enough and that the ticket were on the Fed ex truck again. I then start to panic because the driver wasnt going to get back to the station till 6 or 7 that night, and the game started at 530! EEK!!! I was not going to miss a playoff game! I then call them and beg them to either come back around 3 or 4 (that is when Zack would be home) Or to meet me in Salt lake so I could pick them up. Finally after hours of being put on hold and the classic "we will call you back" line. Zack calls me and said he finally got the tickets! At like 4 that afternoon. Fewww I was relived! However when I saw the tickets they were just a printed out version!! WHAT!! You mean to say we could have just "Printed" them off and skipped the whole dramatic event!! ARGH!!! Some people..... Needless to say we had a great time even though the Jazz got swiped by the Spurs 0-4, it was still a fun evening!

Easter!

This Easter Weekend, we were staying at my Aunt Joy's house taking care of Tankers and keeping things cleaned up for her. She went down to AZ to spend it with my sister and her cute Kiddos! Zack and HAD to take the dogs out hiking. It was finally a gorgeous day out and Tank really needed the exercise.(So did I really)Also I went to the Pet store to pick up another fishy, (The sucker ones that clean the tank!) And I took tank with me. I mean how many times do you get to take a dog into a store with you. While we were there they had these cute bunny ears on sale! So of course I had to get them for Tank. He needed to celebrate Easter some how too! hahaDoesn't he just look so stinking cute??

Zacks Hawaiian Birthday

I know I know it has been a few months since I blogged about anything, but hey better late then never right??Anyway, Zacks birthday was on the April 17th and he has been saying he wants to go to the beach for ever now! So I went and picked up some party supplies and turned our house into a Hawaiian luau. It was the best I could come up with considering we are in Utah and there really isn't a good beach anywhere close. It was pretty fun though we had pina coladas and hula danced. Then later that evening we just had our own night!He is now 26 years old! Man he is getting old haha. Happy Birthday babycakes!! I stinkin LOVE YOU!!

Modeling

It is starting up again!

I started modeling when I was 13 and have LOVED doing it ever since! Since I dont live in New York or L.A. I am just doing little jobs here and there again. So I thought I would post what my current Comp card looks like now!

Double date night!!

We have some pretty cool friends. My dear friend Amberly and Joe are SO fun to hang out with! A couple weeks ago we went on a double date with them to California Pizza Kitchen and to a light show which made me SICK!! Yeah I forgot motion is my weakness. And we also got to walk around the space museum place and take all these fun cool pictures! My favorite line of that night goes like this...

Amberly" What should we do on the moon?"

Joe "I dunno know"

Amberly " Lets Kiss!"

Joe " No silly your not supposed to kiss on the moon your supposed to kiss UNDER the moon" Awwweee....

Our First Christmas!

So this was our first Christmas as Husband and Wife! And tell you what it was AMAZING!! We slept in and had a nice breakfast! Thanks to me! I made the BEST cinnamon rolls! They were HUGE too!

Zack got me everything I asked for and then some! I hope Zack liked all his gifts. I think he did. I think the coolest thing was I went over to My mom and grandpas house and was Santa. I filled their stockings and dropped off gifts. It was because My mom and grandpa and NO clue either. SO when they woke up there were presents for them. I think that is one thing I CANT wait to do for my little kiddos in the future! It was so fun seeing Zack's face when he came down the stair. (I did the same thing for him) It was funny because he had no clue either!! Haha Man am I good or what!!

Messiah!

So for the past ten years or so Zack's family has been going to the Christmas Concert called the Messiah. Nowits not like a typical Mormon concert. I think it is Catholic or something. Anyway I Jan has been signing in it for the past three years and this was my second year going to it. One of the main reason I LOVE going is because there are so many black people and I get all excited when I interact with the Black race... Dont ask me why I just do! Its also really fun because we get to dance and praise the Lord kinda thing! This year my mom also went with us which was super fun! I wish I could have taken pictures during the concert but they are not allowed. So here are just a few before and after ones.

Hopkins Christmas!

Yes I know this is WAY late but I just have been busy so ya'll.

Anyway Christmas! Zack and I both had to work Christmas eve day, but afterwards we went over to his parents house and had a great meal and opened presents with his family. Last year we had to all wear Santa hats and do the hokie pokie. We were all glad that it did not carry on to this year! Instead we just talked and had a blast watching all the kiddos open their presents!

Zack got a very nice tool box, with one of his Grandpas old screwdrivers. I got some very nice hot coco mugs and I relaxing book! And then we both got money!
